The oracle is like any other person, except for the fact that sometimes she or he will sprout what seems to be poetry - when it's actually a prophecy. The only thing is, the prophecies tend to have double meanings and tend to always come true.
Campers must speak to the Oracle and get a 'prophecy' if they want to go out of the camp and get a quest - usually campers go in groups of three.
