Biography: In her youth, Layla chose not to follow the norm for women of her age and instead she chose to act and dress as a male would. Because of this, she was often pestered as a child and punished by her parents. Before the start of her adulthood, her parents forced her to marry, however it ended a little more than a year after. This disgrace, combined with Layla’s own dreams of honor and glory, forced her to be sent away and join Camp Half-blood in New York. It was uncommon for women in her family to just get up and be sent away during the summer, so her parents would tell the neighbors that she was sent to a detention center. Layla had so much fun amongst the Campers that she came back year after year. She had yet to have a serious conversation with her true father, which was something she had always pined for, and yet she shared many traits of his. She was lyrically gifted, musically eclectic and very good at internal medicine, often taken care of cuts and bruises that she had sustained or those around her had.

Rp sample: Standing up from her sitting position she looked towards the clearing before her. Taking the bow off of her back she nocked a silver tipped arrow onto the string and pulled it back, aiming towards something seemingly not there. Closing her right eye, she sighed and focused on her target as the music in her headphones, vibed slowly through her body. Waiting for the opportune moment, she released the arrow from her fingers, letting it fly straight through the air as the music reached a crescendo. With a brilliant flourish the song ended and the arrow was lost from sight, but replaced with a soft thud in the distance. Placing the bow in the quiver on her back she ran forward, sliding the headphones down so that the connecting band rested on the back of her neck. She stopped, slightly tired but with a smile on her face as she found the arrow in the tree, it was in it’s place along with many others, and with this final arrow the Heart she was trying to embed in the tree, was finally set. She pulled each of the arrows out, replacing them in her quiver as the heart impact remained. Turning around, she began walking back towards her home, she had to finish packing… camp started in the morning.
