Kanji Karuson Character Completed

The Early Years : Ages 1 through 5
Kalli's mom sighed as she saw Kanji playing outside with his best friend. His best friend, Cooper, was a year older than he was and about twice as tall as he was when he stood up. However since Cooper was a dog he rarely stood up. Kanji was riding him again, despite how many times she had told him not to. Kanji! Come on back inside for dinner!" She called out through the window. Kanji nodded and hopped off Cooper and ran inside to meet the usual steak dinner with eggs and milk. Kanji quickly finished his dinner and ran upstairs to his room which was lined with weapons of various types. He had been into weapons ever since he could remember and his uncle, on his mother's side, was able to obtain rather rare weapons for him but he never explained how or why he would do this. Most of these weapons were still too heavy for him to hold but he still enjoyed looking at them. One day he intended to take up all sorts of combat training. He couldn't explain why but, this urge to fight burned inside him like a wildfire. "I wonder if I can truely become the warrior I want to be?"

The Real Training Begins : Ages 6 through 10
Kanji stood before his karate master with with hands held out, ready to begin. He heard the sound of the gong and ran at his master with his war cry filling the room. When it came to technique, he was obviously outclassed but, his endurance and strength were so great he constantly over-power his master's holds and continued unleashing an onslaught of powerful punches and kicks. After a few minutes, his master called for the match to end. "Kanji, you show great promise but you are too direct with your attacks. You should fight with more precision and thought." Kanji nodded as if he was considering what his master said but his mind told a very different story. Psh, easy for you to say. I bet you're just trying to hinder my growth and make me weak. If I continue to get strong than I'll be able to overpower you one day... "Master". *2 years later, Kanji is 8* Kanji sat in his personal gym taking a breather from his rigorous workout schedule. 100 pushups, 100 situps, 250 jumping jacks, 20 laps around the neighborhood, and 150 squats. He did this every day except on Sundays so that his body could rest. He was far more fit than any child in his neighborhood and he suspected he was stronger than anybody in his entire city. "I will continue to get strong and then one day, I'll be a master of combat that everyone will admire."

A New Lesson Begins : Ages 11 through 16
Kanji had just been enlisted into a new school for kids like him. He found out he was known as a demigod, which he personally thought sounded pretty cool. This meant that he was the son of a god, Ares to be specific. "Maybe that explains my eagerness to fight?" He would often think. He found out that he had several half-brothers and sisters and they were all as competitive as he was. He played games with them, ate with them, and slept with them (get your mind out of the gutter naughty reader). He thought that this was what it meant to have kin and assumed this is how ancient warriors like the vikings and the soldiers of the Holy Roman Empire felt. Very rarely, he sparred with actual weapons with his siblings and the results of these battles varied but, if you asked him, he would claim he won most of his battles. So far he's been pretty relaxed about his lessons but, he never backs down from a fight, whether physical or mental, with people from other cabins. The former he would usually win. The latter, well... A child of Ares is not expected to be a master of words.
